Tick Tick Tick

Like a bomb ticking
So my heart goes

With only two weeks left
So my mind whirls.

I have looked at alternatives
So there are none (right now)

Back I must go
So where is my optimism

To a job that I love
So a place that I hate

To work with a bully
So have to have tools

A full hour for lunch
So not 20 minutes as before

Working as I do
So must rest and gain space.

Not overload either
So will strive to prevent

Not wait for anger
To obsess my brain
But give me a moment
So learn to say 'NO'.

there are always alternatives. Maybe none that are wise to take?

Saying no is one of the things that is hardest for me.

along with confrontation that is.

Way to "put your foot down."

Refuse to be beaten.

Believe in yourself.

Pity the bully. She only has anger.
You have love to give and she hates that.

Continue to teach those children in the loving manner you always have. You can get through this!

Wow, even thinking about the word NO gives me the shivers.

I think as children we must have heard the NO backed by all the fears and what ifs of our parents. NO could be just No don't do that, not a loaded word at all.

When I train I use AAAAAAH as blocking word (don't do what you are about to do) and NO as the negative reinforcement-(Don't do what you just Did) but I try to say it without emotional baggage. Such an icky word.

i remember that feeling. once i had a job that i liked, but worked for a tyrannical manager. every sunday night i would go into mourning as the sun went down. ugh.

wow the drawing talks so loud and expressively... love it... and goes well with the words...

think now you CAN say a big NO to all the things which do not match your frequency...
good luck

Bummer that one person can ruin a nice job. I hope things improve this year by some miracle.
