And this page for Karen M's book...you may recognise this drawing I did, which has now been cut up and rearranged... the twins, Lungile (Loongeele) and Busiswe (Booseeswe) are in the garden with their favourite hen Jabulile (Jabooleele)...
And of course it is still the ACts4All Art-a -thon weekend, where we are all making and trading ATCs all weekend...

My last week of my incredibly arty Summer holiday, is really going off with an art bang, I'm on fire. Have lost 6 pounds (weight, not money), cut out bread, all fats and sweet things... so all my Winter flab has gone and can fit into my skirts again, have my new and comfortable denture now, and have had some new 'pinkie' highlights put in the hair again....yahooooo....I am 'cooking' girls. Thursday school starts, and that's okay. All good things come to an end and I will always remember this Summer as my 'arty' one and the joy it has brought me. Including the pening of my Etsy shop and 5 sales so far, (new pieces are in now...please have another look, you may see something you like.)
I was asked why I had priced them all so low, and the answer is simple, I am not in this for the money, I love knowing that all round the World my vibrant and unusual stuff (been called 'raw' and 'crude' and I like both adjectives)...is hanging in your homes and being enjoyed.
This money will pay for art supplies and my weekly lesson starting again in September.
If there is ever anything of mine you like from the past posts and would like me to do it for you, just e mail me and I'll do it for sure! I love a new challenge.

Since I've found your insiring blog this summer, I always enjoy it, and within days it turned to become one of my favourite blogs.
I like the way you express your art and yourself.
I love your blog, 'cooking' soulbrush

I love that you have felt "On Fire" in terms of creating...and yes you have been...I feel the energy coming off your words and your art! I excitedly await my painting of yours to arrive to adorn my walls. (although where I'll put it remains a mystery as my walls are so full now!)LOL
I am sure you will find time to continue to create even though you are back to work! And so glad the teeth now are more comfortable!
I love women who burn. Glad to see you and the fire.

I love that you are "on fire". I know that feeling but haven't felt it in some time. I need to get busy. We are what we make of ourselves!
And...It's a fire I hope never goes out! Fun pieces all! :)
