Six word Saturday

Where were you? I missed you!

I went back to work this week, after 2 months at home with a torn cartilage in my knee, and a bad back- have now got osteoarthritis in my spine and knee, and degenerative discs in my spine, both feel like continual gnawing 'toothache'.

But, work is always a 'balm' for my soul, as I get to be among children, whose faces lit up when they saw me, and said:'Where were you, I missed you!'.

And that makes it all worthwhile!http://www.showmyface.com/

ps Happy Moms day to you all, specially those Moms who are working fulltime and managing their families too.

A co-worker, my office mate, returns on Monday after 10 weeks' medical leave. I've missed her, but enjoyed the solo office space. Mixed emo.

Well bummer on the pain. Is there nothing they can do about it? But then I do know about back pain. Glad to see you return here. Love the drawing. It says so much. :))

I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time with your back. I'm glad work is a happy distraction for you. Children are truly blessings...I wish everyone understood that as clearly as you do.

Isn't it lovely to be missed? Especially by children who are so sincere in expressing themselves. Welcome back!

Happy Mother's Day! I wish you the best with your pains, I have them too and they are no fun, but keeping joy, like your school children, in our life helps a lot.

A child's smile becomes a treasure of the heart and an antidote to what ails us. So lovely to hear of the children's responses. What a sunny bright moment that had to be...:)
