When I'm 64! (Six word Saturday)

When I'm sixty-four...
Will you......?

I met my husband 40 years ago (this coming November), and we used to sing this song to each other- as we were both avid Beatles fans....never believing it possible that we would ever get to be this age or still be together!
Where has the time gone?

So glad you met; so glad you are sixty four; and so glad you are still together! ;-)
I know we never believe we are going to really age.
I got new glasses yesterday and when the young woman gave me a big round clean mirror to look in I said there is something wrong with the glasses. I look OLD in the mirror. That can't be so!
She smiled. I looked at her and said "You aren't going to believe this but you will one day have this experience too." ;-) I hope so anyway. Growing old is part of the journey. I'm just glad I'm still here at 70 to enjoy it. And look forward to more years to attach on to these for both of us Friend.

You are fabulous at any age. I love the charactures you drew of yourself. Of course your ol' man is still with you. He knows he has a keeper.

Congratulations!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Actually 64 should be a fun way for you as it was for me! A little hint, from my experience years ending with an eight (8) are the bad years. That just sounds old.

I love this song. Speaking of love, I love your header picture of the slightly clownish looking fellow with the green stocking hat. I have a green stocking hat like that one. It is really nice and warm in the cool days we have been having.

Please forgive me for taking so long to return your comment. I've been to church this morning for a Sunday school training session and after that Mrs. Jim has some shopping to do. So 'we' shopped forever.

Now, my song, from the Beatles, to you:

When I get older losing my hair,
Many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine?

If I'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four?

It isn't your age in years that counts, it is how you've aged inside!
You're still a young'un, Joss!
I hope your birthday was the best ever!
