I love old houses, and this one caught my eye on Sunday. I think it is now uninhabited, but I love imagining what sort of household it had in the 15th Century. We are truly all just 'grains' of sand in the 'beach of time', aren't we?
It DOES resemble the Stratford-on-Avon houses! I adore the 15th Century.... (except for the plumbing)! You KNOW there were a lot of great stories taking place within these walls.....
It is hard to imagine what the family would be like and how times were back then...living in this lovely old house! Did you ever see "The 1900's House" on BBC???
My friends near York lived in a house that was very similar. The pater familias was the local headmaster. The tall people bumped their heads on the door frames, and the floors tilted a bit, but it was such a wonderful place! -Marla

i love old houses too. of course, we have nothing here that old. i can hear life after life reverberating within and without those walls.
I too love old houses. I love English old houses the most. Fun to think what might have gone on in them.
Very cool! I wish I could visit. Thanks so much for sharing! :-)
It reminds me of Stratford on Avon houses/buildings. No?
Thanks for sharing this wonderful bit of history!
