Paint Party Friday

Whew, the exhibition is over and it was totally wonderful.
40 artists from the UK and Europe showed their art, got to know one another, laughed and cried (only 10 people sold pieces). I got orders for 3 prints.

I learnt so much about myself and my art, about artists as people who are striving and struggling to be 'seen' and 'heard', many have given up everything just to follow their dreams. I mopped up lots of tears and gave some 'motherly' advice to some of them.

I felt humbled and priveleged to be among them.

Here is my newest piece, which I love.
She will be in my etsy shop from today.

 Happy International Day of Women
Happy Mother's Day in the UK for Sunday

Again, I repeat myself I am sure, YOUR ART on the wall looks STUNNING! It's like a huge rainbow of color and life! Such energy, and vibrancy it shouts out loudly to be seen and enjoyed!!! Your soul is deeply embedded in each and every piece!

Happy Mother's Day to one of the best! Happy Woman's day as well!

Why all the tears? I think not selling is way more about the economy than the art! And being established! You are a prime example, as you have sold an amazing amount of art on line through your ETSY shop, because I think you have an established following on your blog, I wonder if those other artists you met market themselves as you do?

HPPF!
